Doujinshi and Doll Stuff, Part 1 (NSFW)

People are surprised when I tell them that I collect dolls, and what is perhaps even more surprising is that I’ve been collecting dolls for far longer than I’ve been buying anime figures. I don’t play around with them much – most are stuck in a drawer or in a couple of cardboard boxes now – but I do enjoy buying them and dressing them up. More recently, I’ve begun collecting doujinshi, and with most of my June preorders yet to ship I thought that I’d take some time to share these things.

Perhaps my favorite doujinshi is Grindcore. This book was published by Gin no Hoshitei, the circle of Akito Tamiya. He also did the artwork for the h-visual novel Zanjibaru, which I liked a lot. Zanjibaru incorporates some strange fetishes, such as belly expansion, massive insertions, and larva birthing, but this book is fairly straightforward tentacle sex. What makes it hot is that it seems that Nanoha is the one plugging up Fate with tentacles.

Grindcore by Gin no Hoshitei

This doujinshi is mostly black and white, with several colored pages in the middle.

In Search of Sanity by Gin no Hoshitei

Gin no Hoshitei has also done a sequel, or at least a book that is identical in theme, called In Search of Sanity. It’s more of the same and it looks great.

In Search of Sanity by Gin no Hoshitei

Have you ever seen anyone take as much joy in their work as Nanoha does here?

Rainy Day and Day by Type-G

Moving on to another Fate Testarossa doujinshi, this one is from the circle Type-G. This one’s a pretty fun book, and there’s an English translation floating around out on the internet so I can understand what’s happening.

Rainy Day and Day Another Take by Type-G

And here’s the followup book, which has Fate getting banged by some faceless guys.

Mahou Shoujo Dai Pinch by Studio PAL

This one is by Studio PAL. I randomly came across one of their works – a Dragon Quest doujinshi – on the English version of DLsite. I went ahead and bought it and was slightly disappointed to find that it was in PDF format, which is a bit unwieldy to view compared to a directory of JPEGs. However, I really liked the artwork, so I was happy to learn that they’ve put out a number of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha books. This one is called Mahou Shoujo Dai Pinch, I think, and has Fate being accosted by some evil dude. Anyone know who this metro-looking purple-haired wanker is?

Mahou Shoujo Dai Pinch by Studio PAL

Unfortunately the Fate part is pretty short, and the rest of it shows a brief sexual encounter between Teana and Subaru. At least, I think that’s who they are; it’s not in color and being generally unfamiliar with the Nanoha characters, I rely on hair color to help identify them.

1001 by Cyclone

There sure are a lot of Nanoha doujinshi out there. This one’s from Cyclone, and despite what it says on the cover, is entirely black and white on the inside. It’s basically just an omnibus reprinting of several of Cyclone’s doujinshi: 840, 850, 860, and 865. Very nicely drawn, though being Japanese-illiterate it’s difficult for me to tell what’s going on. It seems that Fate gets mind-controlled in one of these books, because she beats up and rapes Nanoha. I think, anyway. It’s a couple hundred pages long, which gives it good value for the money.

Daughters of Mogthrasir by Xanadu

Taking a quick break from the porno stuff, this book is titled Daughters of Mogthrasir. At least, I think that’s what it says. What’s a Mogthrasir? Wikipedia has the answer. Back when I was a kid, I wished that I had a machine that could answer any question I wanted to ask, and now, we have Wikipedia! Is technology not wonderful? Unusually (for me), this book doesn’t involve any sort of sexual activity. I pretty much bought it because I liked the cover. And Muv-Luv. For someone who knows almost nothing about Muv-Luv, I sure do buy a lot of Muv-Luv stuff.

Senhime Doujinshi by Veronicanoha

Uhh, no idea what that says on the cover. I plugged it into an auto-translator and it comes back with “Sandome no Make Sen Torawa Reno Hime.” No idea what that means, either. Anyway, this book is about my favorite Sengoku Rance girl, Senhime, and is by the circle Veronicanoha. She doesn’t seem to have many doujinshi out there, so I’m glad that this book has some very nice artwork. I wish that I could read Japanese, since it seems that she’s either recounting a fantasy of hers to Rance or she’s describing something that actually happened. I’d like to know which it is. Maybe I ought to try learning Japanese one of these days. I studied engineering in school, and half of it was in bloody Greek letters, so it can’t be that hard for me to learn a foreign language, can it?

Punching this book’s title into the same translator gives its name as “Deriketo Bangaihen Kaki Kudashi.” It translates that as “Delicate Bangaihen Oyster Evacuation,” which I am thinking is not an accurate interpretation. Also, this book is for adlut comics! I guess I shouldn’t make fun of that typo, their English is certainly far better than my Japanese. Anyway, this book involves a couple of cheerful girls who share a guy. It’s full of happy sex which is a bit of a difference from most of the books that I bought.

All right, that’s enough pictures of porno comics for now, let’s move on to the doll stuff.

Yamato vmf50 Risa Doll

I got this doll a few months back after seeing some pictures of it on Akibahobby. Right after seeing those, I googled the name and got HLJ as the first hit. Happily, HLJ stocks some of Yamato’s limited edition items and they had this doll in stock. I went ahead and ordered it, which I suppose was their last one, since it’s showed up as discontinued ever since. The doll is named Risa, and Yamato has a few other dolls in the series named Miu (who looks pretty cool) and Miki (who looks utterly terrifying). I wanted a name that sounded a bit more like a porn actress’ name, so after some consultation with friends I renamed this doll Simone.

Yamato vmf50 Girlholic doll

This doll is part of Yamato’s vmf50 series line, and they sell a bunch of clothes on their website. Most of the options look like hooker suits, so it’s pretty obvious what sort of demographic Yamato is targeting. For example, there’s this swimsuit which is basically see-through. Then there’s this outfit and this one and that one. Straight up ho-wear. Well, maybe not that last one. Or maybe it is, I dunno. I like them all, though.

Yamato vmf50 Risa Doll

I don’t have a lot of clothes for this doll; I got the transparent swimsuit (a real pain to put on her), the gym outfit she’s wearing now, and some underwear. Most of the clothing options are relatively expensive and sell out quickly, so I’m not all that inclined to buy more stuff.

Yamato vmf50 Risa Doll

I also got these hooker boots for the doll. The vmf50 body is somewhat anatomically correct (no anus though) and I did get a request to display it, so here it is:

Yamato vmf50 Risa Doll

As the product name suggests, this doll is about fifty centimeters tall, putting it somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 scale. It’s too big to easily display right now so I usually just keep her in her box, like a vampire.

Electra and Bloody Rose Cy Girls

The first dolls I bought were Blue Boy Toys’ Cy Girls. These were licensed versions of Takara’s Cool Girls dolls and are in 1/6 scale, like most action dolls. They came with a bevy of guns, holsters, and accessories and generally were sold for around thirty bucks back in the day. The two here are Electra (brunette) and Bloody Rose (orangehead). They were part of the third group of Cy Girls and I got them back in 2003, if I remember right. If anyone thinks the Cy Girls name sounds familiar, it’s probably because there was a forgettable PlayStation 2 action game based on these dolls.

Bloody Rose is wearing her original clothing but Electra is wearing a suit from Triad Toys. I’ve got a bunch more Cy Girls but I ran out of time while shooting these photos so they’ll have to wait till a follow-up post.

Deunan Knute by Hot Toys

My newest doll is Deunan Knute, the heroine of Appleseed. This doll was manufactured by Hot Toys. I had wanted it for a very long time but could never quite afford it, but I had an opportunity to acquire it not so long ago and jumped at it. She comes with a ton of accessories – rifle, handgun, sword, watch, holster, sighting system – and a bunch of hands. The hands are the weakest part, I think – they mount using some very narrow pegs, which seem quite fragile. In fact, I snapped one while taking these photos. Fortunately I keep super glue around for such contingencies, but now I can’t pose her right hand. Regardless of her delicacy, this is a great, great doll. Maybe I ought to give Deunan her own review because she looks fantastic.

Deunan Knute and President Obama

I’ve got a couple of male dolls, most notably the president of the United States. This doll was manufactured by a company called DID. The president came with some extra hands, an American flag, a blue necktie, a watch, and a work stool (no idea why). He also comes with two different heads – one shouting, one calm-looking – but it’s a real pain to swap them; the plastic of his neck isn’t very elastic, so it’s very difficult to fit it over the thick neck post.

Deunan Knute and President Obama

This is how the president makes love. Though Deunan definitely has the upper hand here because none of the president’s extra hands are shaped to hold a gun.

Deunan Knute and President Obama

Why is the president pointing there? Well, because I don’t remember where I stashed his hands so I can’t swap it out. And besides, this president is a fan of booty; he’s not afraid to show that he knows what he likes.

I’ve got more doujinshi and more dolls, but since this post is already running long I’ll break it into a two-parter. Stay tuned!

I don’t think I’ll ever collect dolls, myself. Some of them look really nice, but they seem to be quite a bit more expensive than the tons of money I’m already dropping on figures.

Doujinshi, on the other hand, I love. Since I got into the figure/dakimakura hobby, my doujinshi spending has been almost 0, but I’ve probably collected ~200 doujinshi before I got into the hobby, plus the 100 or so book format ones I have. It’s a great deal of fun, and even though it’s all technically available for free on the internet, it’s still a great thing to collect. That and print quality is usually at least slightly better than the quality of the scans.

  2. Tier says:

Yeah, I’m noticing they’re a lot more expensive these days. Back when I was buying Cy Girls, they were running about thirty bucks each. Blue Box doesn’t sell them anymore, and Takara was charging something like $150 per doll in recent years. Hot Toys’s products cost about the same, and Volks’s can be even more expensive.

I’m thinking of doujinshi as being an extension of my comic book collection. Funny how fan-made doujinshi all run about the typical 8.5 x 11″ size that US comics do, while manga seems to all run in a much smaller format. Also, I’m not a big fan of digital downloads (though I do have a ton of doujinshi saved to my computer). I enjoy collecting physical things, and I’d much rather have bookshelves filled with books than a Kindle (or PDFs, jeebus forfend), and I always prefer to buy CDs, even though I always just rip them to MP3s (I haven’t actually listened to any of the CDs I’ve purchased in the last ten years, I think). I’m going to have to dragged kicking and screaming into the digital age.

  3. Shashin says:

Having just purchased a car that came with a fairly decent CD system, capable of playing burned CDs, I chuckled to myself as there is also an Auxiliary jack. I’ve used the CD player portion once thus far, while I wait for a cheap Auxiliary cable to arrive from Monoprice; haven’t used a CD since.

I also do like collecting physical objects, though digital is fairly convenient at times. I don’t purchase a lot of music, as my tastes are rather limited and only two bands I follow have released an album in the last five years (one of which is absolutely terrible), with most of them not having released anything in the last 10-15 years. When I do purchase music, I do tend to go digital, because it saves $2-3, and the packaging hardly ever included a booklet that was worth the extra money anymore.

One curious thing about digital sales thus far is the pricing of video games generally remains the same, excluding tax. Sure, they’re more likely to be on sale for a decent price sooner, but I’m honestly appalled that they’re still charging $50 for a PC game when there aren’t any production costs that could easily remove a couple bucks from the price tag. Unless I’m unable to make a trip to the store, I’d much rather purchase the physical product if I’m paying the same price.

  4. Tier says:

A friend of mine bought an Infiniti something or other several months back; it had all kinds of stuff in the center console and a place to hook up an iPhone. He also showed me his iPhone, which was pretty cool. Me, though, I drive a ten-year old car that can only play burned CDs because I put an aftermarket stereo into it (did a terrible job with the install, too). My MP3 player is an iRiver iHP-140 that’s almost as old as my car. My cell phone is about as old and doesn’t have a camera, audio playback capabilities, and it definitely can’t access the internet (I think it can send and receive text messages, but I’ve never tried it). I see a ton of news and hype about all these new gadgets coming out that can do all sorts of web-related stuff and I don’t find any of them to be compelling. I’ve also never been interested in watching anime on Crunchyroll or Youtube; if I want to watch a TV show, I’ll watch it on TV or buy the DVDs. (Admittedly, I will watch ESPN’s streaming broadcasts of U.Va. football games if the game isn’t being broadcast on local television.) This may be a strange attitude for me to take, being that I’ve been around technology my whole life, majored in EE and work with computers in the office, but I guess I’m conservative like that.

I’ve probably got thousands of doujinshi on my hard disk, but the funny thing is, most of the ones I’m buying are ones I’ve already downloaded. I’m a lot more likely to buy something if I’m certain I like it, even if I already have a digital copy of it.

I downloaded this Steam thing a few weeks back and already decided I don’t like it much. I’m noticing that the more video game companies move towards downloadable games and content and stupid stuff like motion controllers, the less I care about video games in general. I’m noticing that Starcraft II is $60, which bothers the hell out of me; sure, it’s only a difference of ten bucks from what I’d expect to pay (and given how much I spend on figures, that difference barely registers on my budget), but I find it presumptuously cavalier on the part of the video game company.

  5. Shashin says:

I have a rather cheap smart phone. It’s a great time waster, if nothing else, and text messaging is quite useful. I think the iPhone is a waste of money; no matter what it does, $300 for a phone and $100 a month to start if fucking ridiculous. And my MP3 player cost me $20 and holds more music than I’d ever need in one sitting. I don’t use my phone for video streaming or music, but I do watch a good bit of tv/anime on the computer.

Same here. All the doujinshi I really liked in digital format I’ve slowly added to my collection. Some of the were really hard to find, but I quite happy when I was finally able to acquire them. I did buy a lot of doujinshi based solely on the cover, without even taking a peak inside, but a good deal were purchased because I enjoyed the digital copy.

I’m not a fan of the Steam system. I will say that the sale they’re doing right now is pretty damn awesome, but I find it to be very intrusive and hate the fact that games are linked to a single account. You’re only supposed to have one account and there isn’t any way to merge them. I created a new account a few months back without remember I had an old one, and now have several games on each account and can’t switch between them without logging into the other account. It’s a pain in the ass.

The StarCraft II price tag pisses me off more than it does a lot of people, I’m sure. I spend a good deal of my time watching professional Broodwar matches broadcast from Korea, so of course I have a interest in StarCraft II. Sure, those who play multiplayer will get their money’s worth, but there’s absolutely no reason for the price increase, especially given just how terrible Battle.net 2.0 is.

The book cover of starring Senhime looks very tempting to me (the art style looks great). I guess all the good stuff are in Jap. I regret that I didn’t brush up my Jap. I took Jap for electives during my Uni days. Though I wasn’t good but I could read some paragraphs. After not using them for more than 8 years, I know nuts now (same for french).

I’ve not seen any of your dolls post before. This is my first time though. I’m truly amazed. Have you got any dollfie dream stuff? They look great too. I was quite tempted to get one myself but the orders seem to be opened to those in Japanese only (the crappy Volks policy I guess, I’m not sure). I wish I could see more of your collections 🙂

  7. here-and-faraway says:

I have two dolls myself. A naked, unfaced obitsu that I use for modeling ( http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f98/maiyura/April%2024%202010%20CSA%20Box/IMG_0175.jpg ) and a Ginko doll from Mushishi. I would also love to get the Akira Testsuo doll, but he’s at least $300. Uggh!

As always, thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your writing and photography. I especially love the last picture of Obama. He looks so smug.

  8. Adam says:

I don’t see myself ever getting into dolls. I’m just not a fan of joints, which is why I also stay away from Figmas. Plus, with the dolls I feel like you lose some of the anime look and feel, which is a big part of the appeal of anime figures for me, personally.

Doujinshi, on the other hand, I do collect in physical and digital form. On the physical side, I try to pick up artbook-style doujins when I can, which are easier to appreciate when you can’t read Japanese. I particularly like Tony Taka’s doujins because–besides having great artwork–his releases are usually about two-thirds artbook format to one-third manga format.

On the digital side, I mostly stick to fan-translated works, which thankfully seem to be available in relative abundance these days. I find I get a lot more out of a doujin, even one with a paper-thin scenario, when I can actually understand the dialogue.

  9. here-and-faraway says:

I don’t see myself ever getting into dolls. I’m just not a fan of joints, which is why I also stay away from Figmas. I hear what you’re saying. Joints definitely take away from the anime feel of models (unless you’re going for something like a Rozen Maiden figure). But I have always been fascinated with balljoints. There’s something really creepy about them that I like. That said, I’m also a HUGE fan of traditional anime and manga figures.

  10. here-and-faraway says:

Sorry, there should be quotes around “I don’t see myself ever getting into dolls. I’m just not a fan of joints, which is why I also stay away from Figmas.” I’m not used to this Blog Archive format yet!

Wait, what, $100 a month for phone service? Screw that. I don’t really like telephones to start with; I can contact all my real-life friends via IRC without having to interrupt what I’m doing or what they’re doing.

I haven’t used Steam all that much; I installed it recently to download a demo of King’s Bounty (which promptly crashed). It kinda annoyed me how it automatically launched at system startup, though I guess that was easy to disable. What you say about not being able to consolidate accounts sounds pretty bad, though. Speaking of game accounts, I got some e-mail from Blizzard telling me that they’re expanding Battle.net functionality. Among other things, they want to provide the real names of players on your friends list, and let you see friends of your friends. That’s brilliant. I guess I could look up all my friends and see if they’re friends with anyone that I think is a puerile douchebag. Or I could jump into AV, /friend everyone who’s belligerently braying about not capping Frostwolf Graveyard, and search for them on Facebook to see if they look as dumb as they sound.

Just another reason I’ll be cancelling my accounts pretty soon. Amazing how they can spend all their development time doing something as dumb as this but can’t increase the cap on the ignore list.

    >> softz
It’s a great book; I’d never heard of the circle before I first saw it for sale, but the artist is very talented, and on top of that they’ve done several doujinshi based on Sengoku Rance and Beat Blades Haruka, which have some of my favorite characters.

I never did take a foreign language in college. I really wish I could have taken Japanese, since I’m sure I’d have gotten far more proficient in a far shorter span of time than I would trying to learn it on my own. On the other hand, I was a horrifyingly bad student so adding that sort of workload to what I was already struggling with would have probably ensured that I’d have flunked out (again).

There was a time when I was interested in getting a big Dollfie; I was thinking of trying to get Mai Shiranui, but she didn’t look all that great and now that everyone has one, I’m not as enthusiastic about them. It’s not really my thing anymore.

I’ll be doing a followup post pretty soon … still got the two Evangelion girls from Medicom, a few more Cy Girls and a couple of Lady’s Mission dolls, and the Master Chief.

    >> Adam
Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of visible joints either. Generally my dolls are fully covered up so that they aren’t visible or obvious (the big vmf50 one being the exception in my collection). That’s the main reason I don’t have much interest in the 1/8 scale poseable figures out there, like GSC’s Actsta line or CM Corporation’s action figures. I’ve got a few Figmas, though; admittedly, I bought them mainly because I like the characters rather than to play with them. I’ve found that Figmas look far more impressive in the promo photos than they do in real life.

Yeah, I’d have a greater appreciation for doujinshi if I could understand what’s going on. As it is, I mainly buy doujinshi from circles whose artwork I like, but I’d like to know whether any of them are writing an interesting story to go with the artwork. I’ve read some translated manga and doujinshi where the story was actually very compelling, so sometimes I think I’m missing out by not being able to understand the plot.

    >> here-and-faraway
Ouch, that’s an expensive doll. Well, by reasonable standards it is, though I guess these days, the dolls everyone likes to talk about are Dollfie Dreams, and those are ridiculously priced. You’ve got to be reasonably well-off or a big Choo fan to get into those, I think.

I feel the same way; I’ll buy an action figure if I’m familiar and fond of a particular character, whereas with static figures, I’ll happily buy a figure of a character that I know nothing of if it looks good. To be honest, I’m sorta perturbed by all the poseable stuff in the pipeline (Griffon has something called, uhh, Figutto or somesuch … I believe Yamato’s getting some 1/8 scale poseable figures ready … Alter’s been teasing a poseable KOS-MOS figure for forever now …); I hope it doesn’t detract from them getting PVC figures out. None of them are doing a very good job at hitting their release schedules as it is.

I really need to get nested comments running on this site one of these days. I’ve been saying that for nearly a year now; it’s kinda scary how you can plan to do something and when you look around, a year’s gone by and you’re wondering why you couldn’t get that thing done in all that time.

If you’ve been following the development of Battle.net 2.0/StarCraft II at all, I’m sure you could find quite a lot to rage about. Blizzard has rightfully been taking a lot of flak for saying there won’t be chat channels at launch, no LAN support, the inability to customize game rooms, and it just generally being a very unintuitive system that’s largely been seen as a step backwards by the community. As all this was going on, they announced that they were integrating Facebook into the game.

Even as an avid fan of the professional scene in Korea and the campaign of StarCraft (I myself am terrible at multiplayer) I can’t support the piece of shit that is Battle.net 2.0. I’ve decide not to purchase the game at release (the extra $10 price is a slap in the face… especially if you consider that you’re only getting the Terran campaign to start, regardless of how many fucking missions they include.) Hopefully it will reach bargain bin prices before the first expansion hits, but I doubt it.

    Ooo..that Deunan is sexy.
I have the Hot Toys Iron Man MK2 and Wolverine:Origin figure myself. Thinking if I wanna get the Obama they did..but sans suit.
I don’t have any female figs of Hot Toys..almost got the nice costumes Chacha..but it didn’t look good as its prototype. If they did one of Tamina of the Prince of Persia though..

God reminding me I damn near fell into the trap that is Dolls myself…Gladly I pulled back before it was too late!

I have not; I haven’t followed Starcraft II’s development cycle with any enthusiasm once I heard they were breaking it up into three releases. None of that sounds particularly enticing, though. Particularly the Facebook stuff, although I suppose that sort of thing is not targeted towards me, being that I don’t even link my Twitter account anywhere on this website (despite running this website, I try to keep a very low profile online).

I’m sure I’ll pick up the game at some point, but I’m not sure when. I don’t know whether there’s any point in getting the game at launch because if history is any guide, I’m sure that Battle.net will be completely unplayable for the first few days.

    >> DaSaru
I really want that Iron Man figure, having read the review over on Michael’s Reviews. I kinda want one of the Terminator endo-skeletons, too, and an Alien xenomorph. Unfortunately all of my toy budget is getting blown on PVC stuff (and doujinshi). I’m seriously thinking about getting the Obama-lookalike body, though; if I do, I’ll look around for Triad’s Neo trenchcoat and dress him up as The One. A lot of my female dolls are already dressed like they just stepped into the Matrix so I think Obama #2 would fit right in to my collection. Plus the DID doll’s neck is a real pain in the, uhh, neck, because not only is it very hard to swap heads, his head can only turn left and right, which greatly restricts the poses you can put him in.

    >> Ashlotte
It is! I’ve got Ziploc bags full of spare parts and clothes and gats. Still need to buy some stuff to rebuild my 1/6 scale dungeon, though. I wonder how hard it is to sew leather?

A recent Yahoo Japan buying binge has severely depleted my discretionary budget so unfortunately, my doll and doujinshi spending will be severely curtailed XD

Hello Tier. Need somme help on your nanoha doujins. Could you give me a link where to find them? Jlist said it can’t get them. Thanks for any assistance rendered.

  19. Tier says:

I got almost all of them off of eBay (mostly from Doujinshi Market). The Type-G and Cyclone ones aren’t too difficult to find, but the two from Gin no Hoshitei seem to be relatively obscure, as I don’t see them on eBay very often and I don’t see them at all on Mandarake. If you’re looking for them, you might check Yahoo Japan, maybe; it seems like all kinds of good stuff shows up there.

  20. Steve Chen says:

    Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I’m not sure I have the same taste as you have regarding doujins 🙂 I’d actually be okay with the tentacle stuff if it was consentual instead of rape… But consentual or loving tentacle stories? Not going to happen I think.

So in my case, this is my idea of an absolutely wonderful manga:
    http://dynasty-scans.com/reader/chapters/present#2
Not exactly along your lines I believe 🙂

I’m not a fan of those dolls personally, but hey, different taste for different people! On the other hand, I love that Deunan!

    I am happy to help!

There’s at least one consensual tentacle love story that I know of. It’s called, umm, Tentacle Lovers. It’s pretty cute; here’s a page from it.

That could be along the lines of things I like! I liked the blind girl in Katawa Shoujo. Though the burned girl was pretty cute, too. Err awit, I am guessing you are not talking so much about disabilities as much as the love story. I like love stories, too. Though they can only be improved by the addition on tentacles, in my view.

That makes my dolls sad 🙁 Though then again, Simone gets all the love she needs from her newest best friend, the Mothra larva. It it beautiful to imagine love blossoming between the two.

  24. Steve Chen says:

Hi Tier! Just recently received a couple of doujins by Studio pal from the ebay site your recommended. Boy are they nasty or what?!Great moe artwork though the censorship really sucks. I’m waiting for the ones you got at Mandarake…………………..expect it to be really nasty too.

Yeah they are XD I really like Studio PAL’s artwork and themes. I wonder if they’ve got anything planned for Comiket next month. Speaking of Comiket … I think Veronicanoha’s next doujinshi is going to feature female Rance! Is that awesome or what?

I really like your taste in ecchi bro’ (art of the site is equally arousing) Getting the other 2 parts of studio pal Lyrical series (I think it’s the completion of the storyline of Fate(last of which was a cliff hanger(yeah right XD) between her and a creature ( who looks like Tyrant like from resident evil 1)

It’s sorta funny how, having not watched much of the TV shows, my perception of the Nanoha characters has been set by doujinshi. I started watching StrikerS a couple days ago and I was like, “Oh hey, I recognize that girl, she was raping Nanoha in that one doujinshi I’ve got.” I dunno how much I like the anime but I definitely like the doujinshi and artwork it has spawned.

Plan to buy the DVDS once I finish Mediablasters’ Queen’sblade.

  29. Tier says:

I see that the first season is pretty cheap over at Deep Discount, I’m thinking about picking it up. Still got a ton of stuff in the DVD pile, though, so I’m not sure when or if I’d ever get to it if I do get it.

Hot Toys recently made public a 1:6th size Spider-Man fig based on the 3rd film. It appears astounding from the teaser pictures. Definitely the greatest Spidey figure to date. Unfortunately it might not be available until a few more months.
