Every now and then, a particular artist seems to capture the fancy of figure makers for no particular reason. Which is not to say that those artists are undeserving of figures – most of them are. It’s just that, even after having collected figures for over twenty years, I’ve not found any particular rhyme or reason as to what makes one artist’s illustrations so much more appealing than another’s when this happens. Regardless, figures of rurudo’s original character Eve are wildly popular, and this particular figure – dubbed the Body Harness version – is proof of that: her aftermarket prices are ridiculous, and she’s popular enough that she’s getting a new edition, with a slightly modified face. The figure we’re looking at here, however, is the OG.
