Kozue Sakakibara from T2 Art Girls

Many manufacturers have made figures based on Tony’s illustrations, but today we’ll be looking at a figure from a new company that’s never made a Tony figure before. Okay, technically Dragon Toy seems to be affiliated with Daiki Kougyou and that company has been around for a very long time, but I don’t recall that Daiki Kougyou has ever made a Tony figure, either. Admittedly, that’s not all that notable in itself; after all, there are a billion figures of Tony-designed characters from a slew of manufacturers. However, despite the number of Tony figures out there, Kozue possesses a quality that transcends quantity – which is to say, perversity. Indeed, the indecency of this figure is impressive, even by contemporary anime standards, in which the bar is already set very high, or low, depending on one’s viewpoint.

The source artwork of Kozue was published in Tony’s Comiket 83 collection, and was also used as one side of a dakimakura cover sold at the same convention. Like many dakimakura cover illustrations, the picture depicts the subject as laying down so some modifications had to be made to her pose, but the figure and the artwork are generally similar.

Like many of Dragon Toy’s figures, Kozue is sculpted in 1/6 scale, standing about 27 centimeters in height. She comes with some alternate clothing options but no additional accessories. Note that there’s a certain biological aspect of this figure that is not removable, and we’ll take a much closer look at that in a moment.

Dragon Toy manufactured Kozue in three different colors. This is obviously the blue version and was the first to become available for order; the other two versions feature a khaki and pink uniform, respectively. This figure is the closest the artwork though personally, if I could pick again, I might have picked the khaki version instead; blue uniforms are fairly common but you don’t really see too many anime girls wearing tan-colored clothing.

Tony’s faces are unmistakeable (except, perhaps, for his imitators, of which there are quite a few) and it’s very easy to tell who designed Kozue. It’s a little harder to discern what sort of emotion she’s displaying; embarrassment, perhaps, or shame, though a little less shame than might be expected given what she is showing off.

Kozue Sakakibara figure

Speaking of which, this figure is obviously quite explicit in nature but one has some choices in how much is displayed. Kozue comes with two skirts; this is the more modest of the two, which completely conceals her groin.

Her lowered panties and pantyhose and the positioning of her hands makes it obvious that something is up, though. Also, her breasts are bared and no parts are provided to cover up her rack.

Her buttocks are covered up, though.

The second skirt is raised up on her hips, showing off her vagina as well as the gooey substance dribbling from its depths.

No instruction sheet is provided for removing her skirt, but the procedure is straightforward; both skirts unclasp along the left side and are thin and elastic enough to be pulled off her hips without too much difficulty. Both arms also detach at the shoulders to facilitate removing her skirt; they are also easily removed but seat in their sockets without conspicuous seams. All in all, Kozue’s castoff system is implemented very nicely.

While this skirt shows off everything up front, it does hide her rear.

And for those who want to see everything, the skirt can be dispensed with entirely.

Removing the skirt allows one to focus on other details, like the little bowtie on the front of her panties and the way her necktie falls between her breasts.

However, no detail becomes more obvious than that curious column of liquid dripping from her vagina.

Kozue Sakakibara figure

Here it is up close, and the exact type of bodily fluid being modeled here is debatable, but regardless of whether it is a vaginal secretion or semen, it is raunchy as hell; Alphamax has made a number of adult-oriented figures based off of Tony’s artwork but this one blows them all away in terms of lewdness. This discharge is not removable, at least not without inflicting damage to the figure.

Kozue Sakakibara figure

Going back to her backside, Kozue has a nicely-sculpted ass. Further, Kozue appears to be older than many female anime characters, with long legs and a less-oversized head than is the norm. Collectors who are disturbed by the rampant and unabated sexualization of younger-looking characters in anime might feel more comfortable about picking up a figure like Kozue – as long as they don’t mind the fluids, anyway.

Kozue Sakakibara figure

Aside from the more explicit aspects of her design, Kozue has other agreeable qualities, such as her uniform, which is a fetish element of its own. Her pantyhose is also attractive, with a high-quality paint application that gives it a very realistic look.

Her pose is also very appealing, adapted as it is from the source artwork. Her feet are set wide apart, emphasizing the length of her legs and affording a better view of her crotch. Her upright stance gives her a stoic look that complements her military bearing. Overall, despite the slight discomfiture visible on her face, she doesn’t seem unwilling to show herself off.

There are a great many things I like about this figure but I’ll wrap it up by simply saying that this is a fantastic figure. Dragon Toy has made a bunch of really nice figures but I think this is my favorite one of theirs thus far. She has an attractive pose and a lovely face that perfectly captures that classic Tony look (though some may consider that to be a detriment). And of course, the scandalously lewd – some might say slutty or pornographic – aspects of Kozue’s design are extremely nice. The discharge of fluids is a lovely and unexpected touch that shows what Dragon Toy stands for. Kozue is a wonderful figure, one that should greatly please collectors.

Finally! The Tier treatment! Bad Obama………..down down hahahaha. Btw Tier, that uniform is more reminiscent of those worn by the Russian Federation police.

“You can frisk me anytime baby!”

About the figure, in my version, her arms are a bit loose. What about your version?

All this Tony figs…………hopefully we don’t suffer from Tony fatigue.

    • Steve Chen says:

Sorry ….dead reference pic. These are the lady Russian cops I mentioned

      • sienar3 says:

For the record she’s got minor troubles here and there, her right arm, and her base pegs: I guess it’s safe to say you’re not alone.

I think at C86 the man showed that there ain’t no Tony fatigue available in the near future. Bet someone’s working with that cello girl..

      • Tier says:

That is definitely a pretty neat uniform. Assuming that those are real policepeople, anyway, and I’m going to assume they are not. My figure’s arms don’t seem too loose though they are pretty easy to detach, which is nice for me since I hate figures that are nearly impossible to cast off.

Yeah, it can get pretty easy to get tired of Tony’s style, though I really like his ero art. I’ve always thought that he’s at his best when he’s drawing porn.

  2. Rene says:

OMG very nice and hot, this is got to be the first figure I’ve seen dripping love honey that way, I’d like to have this figure but I don’t know if I could ever brave putting this out

    • Tier says:

Haha, yeah, this is a figure that could get a closer look if anyone notices that little detail between her legs. I’m still kinda amazed we can buy things like this.

  3. Tsunami3k says:

Ouch! So much for holding off to see how well a relative unknown like Dragon Toy would do. She’s still relatively findable but only at places selling her at half over what the more reasonable shops sold her for. A damn shame since they seem to have knocked it out of the park with this one.

    • TomTheCat says:

      Yeah, home run, that’s a good picture…

Btw, I’m not quite sure if the stocking colour is easily transferrable. For some reason, I was wearing cotton gloves when I took her out of her box, and I had the impression that they had stains in that very colour when I took them off. Luckily, I couldn’t find any paint transfer anywhere when I examined her a second time, but I recommend anyone not to death-grip her on her legs for extended times.

      • Tier says:

Huh, interesting. I dunno if it’s related (I kinda doubt it) but my Rika figure has this annoying dark spot on one of her breasts now and I have absolutely no idea how it got there. Unfortunately I’m not sure how to fix it, but I’m thinking I might try some Remove Zit and maybe try painting over it.

    • Steve Chen says:

DRAGON Toys is a sub group of Daiki Kougyo so no worries about the quality.

      • Tsunami3k says:

Yeah, I’m even a fan of Daiki figures but I hadn’t made the connection at the time. Oh well, maybe I’ll luck out and find one for close to the original street price.

    • Tier says:

Yeah, that seems to be the case; I actually saw the tan version in stock at Hobby Search last night but it’s sold out now. I did also see a few at Mandarake so you might try there as well.

      • TomTheCat says:

As I write this, there are at least one of both the khaki and pink versions on Mandarake. These are even listed with their name in latin letters, so can easily be found. 14000 Yen each.

  4. sienar3 says:

Back when they announced two color variants, I expected another : a white version, like the Navy full dress uniform. *Oh man, that would have been nice*. I grabbed blue one though.

I’m more than happy for DragonToy’s recent success in the NSFW area, especially Elsa, Sonsaku, and this Sakakibara. And this upcoming unpainted blonde princess from Tony of course:

    omgomgicantwait.

    • Tier says:

Yeah, I definitely agree; I very much love Dragon Toy’s product line and it’s great that they and Alphamax/Skytube are making so many high-quality ero figures that can be bought from Amiami/HLJ/Hobby Search or whatever one’s favorite figure store might be (well, assuming the import laws for one’s home country allow them to be shipped there). I wonder if any other manufacturers will spin off an ero figure line?

I was kinda surprised to see that the blonde ass-grabbing girl is getting a figure. Daiki/Dragon Toy often seem to go against the grain so I wasn’t expecting to see a second Tony figure from them but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of it; I’m sure it’s going to be outstanding.

  5. Wieselhead says:

N… Nnn… NO WAY IN HELL! That is rather extreme to see a figure with slimy discharge at the genitals XD. Ero figures became more acceptable among collectors and better companies than Giga Pulse and the certain other one deliver such products on a regular basis.

Personally I don’t really want a figure with such a feature it’s too much, I can already imagine what kind of figure might come to beat this figures ecchiness XD. This aside, what I don’t like about the figure are partially her clothes, the hat and her skirt are not so pretty.

The pose and appearance of her are the things I like about her It’s nice how she’s standing there straight with exposed breasts, pushing down her panties. Yeah her boobs look great.
Surprisingly this figure doesn’t really look like Taka’s other characters, Kozue has a quite distinctive expression and I think she has a very pretty face. Her body looks nice, but when she has no skirt on, her lower belly could show more details, it was probably left like that because her skirt would cover that area anyway.

Dragon Toy/ Daiki makes lovely, sometimes more sometimes less ero figure with great sculpting and attractive looks, even though I only bought the modest Kanu, I always like to take a look at their stuff.

    • Tier says:

The discharge is pretty neat and is probably unprecedented, but these days, I guess I can’t be too surprised when anime culture gets more and more risque. Some of the stuff that is commonplace in anime today would be mind-boggling ten years ago. I’m kinda hoping that Native steps up and tries to out-do Dragon Toy in terms of nastiness XD

Yeah, I liked that even though this figure is obviously based on a Tony picture, it doesn’t really resemble all the other Tony figures out there. She looks older than most of Tony’s designs and her clothing is more formal, too. And of course there’s the fluids.

They do indeed make great stuff XD I’ve got a bunch of Daiki stuff here waiting for review. I think I might try to get to doing gangsta lean Saber’s review soon, too.

      • TomTheCat says:

We’ve seen figures with obscure fluids already. Leaving Giga Pulse and Okayama aside, Daiki’s red version of Imari Kurumi comes to mind. However, that fluid was an extra that came in the box with the figure, so one could choose to display her without it. But I agree that this figure here is the first that comes with the fluid as a non-removable part.

        • Tier says:

That is true. We’ve seen it even with mainstream, non-ero products, too; I also recall that there was a poseable figure (a Revoltech, I think) of that Queen’s Blade Alice character with a puddle of piss or something. That really is not my kind of thing.

  6. Phil says:

Speechless. I guess they are trying to out-Native Native 😉

    • Tier says:

It does seem like it. It’s great that they are pushing the boundaries of decency like this; previously, you’d have to go for subpar figures from Giga Pulse or Okayama Figure Engineering if you really wanted something this lewd.

  7. Aya says:

Wow pretty awesome, kinda surprised they put ” the dripping love juice ” quite extreme, a very good ero figurine 😀
The tentacle stand not being used this time ^^ ?

    • Tier says:

I forgot about it XD It would’ve made sense but I would be afraid of snapping off the liquid bits; I’m not really sure how it’s attached to the figure. I do need to use it with one of the next two figures that I plan to review, so thanks very much for the reminder.

  8. Tian says:

haha yeah this one is super lewd. Even more so than some straight-up porno figures. I especially enjoyed your ruminations on the nature of the drippage!

    • Tier says:

You are welcome! As always I think deep thoughts. It’s great to see Tony’s artwork adapted into a highly erotic figure like this, since a lot of his better-known stuff is more cute than raunchy.

  9. Paul says:

I purchased the tan uniform version and I like it a lot (preferring it over the blue version — I didn’t even consider the pink version). I did not want the fluid stream displayed on my figure, so I tentatively attempted to remove it. It detached quite easily from the vagina without leaving any marks or residue. I think it may have just been resting in the slit. It was less easily removed from the panties. I ended up just cutting the stream near the base and leaving a little puddle in the panties, which I personally find more aesthetically pleasing than her peeing herself (or whatever fluids those are).

    • Tier says:

Yeah, I had the feeling that it is relatively fragile so I didn’t want to try touching it to see if it could be detached. I’m guessing that the fluid isn’t urine, though it is ambiguous enough.

  10. Souther says:

    Hi,
I write to you here because you didn’t answer to my mail. I already own this figure. It’s true. It is very pretty, maybe the best I have. I don’t know if you know Reika Kitami figure from Bible black. It was released on february 2014 and it is also very good. I wonder which digital camera you use to take pictures of your figures and which lights.
    Thx.

    • Tier says:

Oops, sorry about that; I am really awful about responding to e-mail. I do know of the Reika figure, though I don’t own it myself. Dragon Toy makes some really impressive figures, though, and Reika is not an exception. As for my camera, I use an old EOS 7D.

  11. Souther says:

Ok, thx. But wich light do you use to light your figures ?
