Everyone already has Gwendolyn so my pictures are probably superfluous, but here they are anyway. I did not play Odin Sphere for very long, but after seeing the other photos of this figure, I decided she looked good enough to buy.

Her wings might be her most prominent feature, but I like the contrast between her steel-encased legs and her upper torso, where she appears to be wearing some sort of medieval tube top. She has a nicely-rendered ass, something that Alter chose to de-emphasize with their choice of promo photos. I wonder why.

Looking at my shelves, Alter seems to have a lot of figures of girls standing on one leg. Maybe I should gather them together someday for a pictorial celebration of anime girls leaping into action.

I hope that her foot peg is robust, as she wobbles considerably when jarred. I have a couple of Alter figures with ankle warping and peg breakage issues and I’m hoping Gwendolyn doesn’t become the third.

As said, everyone has Gwendolyn and reviews of her are rampant. I think she looks fantastic, with her dynamic pose and mysterious smile, and I’m happy to have her in my collection.
